No matter how much we try to stay positive and productive, sometimes our emotions can interfere with our ability to get things done. If a bad mood is hampering your productivity, there are things you can do to improve it.

a bad mood can ruin your productivity

What can we do to improve our mood and get things done?

  1. Play music. Or sing something you love really loud!
  2. Get some exercise. Let the endorphins kick in and lift your mood!
  3. Call a friend and talk it out.
  4. Journal about what’s bothering you.
  5. Look for the good–make a list of things to be grateful for.
  6. Eat something healthy.
  7. Get outside!
  8. Change your location and get a new perspective.
  9. Pray or meditate.
  10. If it’s a persistent problem, consult your doctor.

What do you think?

How do you improve your mood so you can do the things that matter to you? Please share your thoughts and suggestions in the comments below.
